Margaret M. Collatt, BSN, RN, CCHP-A/RN, joins Lorry to talk about correctional nursing in the prison setting – What it takes to be a Correctional Nurse. Margaret has over 26 years of correctional healthcare experience and was the Health Services Manager at the Oregon State Penitentiary for 8 1/2 years. She has developed and instructed health related classes for the correctional setting for many years. She continues to write health related programs and has been active in developing the correctional nurse as a recognized specialty.
